This magnificent couple decided to pack their bags and have a destination wedding in the beautiful island of the Bahamas! So we grabbed our gear took some suntan lotion and off we were. Samara & Petro celebrated with their friends and family a Greek wedding that was nothing but chic, beautiful & very heart felt.
Samara’s grandfather had made her dad a cake for his wedding. So Samara’s father had made her a cake for her wedding! This cake was beautiful and filled with love, surrounded by pretty flowers and their initials displayed on top. Oh! did I mention that it was damn good. 🙂 Also it is a tradition that Samara’s parents had their wedding in Bahamas. So it was a dream come true for her to have the wedding of a lifetime in the Bahamas with her love Petro.
Alex had a magnificent time with Petro and the boys during their getting ready session. They surely know how to have a blast. Petro had bought all his groomsmen and best-man initialed Converse sneakers with all their nicknames, pretty cool! The reception was at a wonderful restaurant called the Poop Deck. They served some amazing food and Bahamian delicacies. I shall treasure this wedding always…

I’m not saying that this was the most perfect wedding ever just because the bride is my granddaughter – it WAS! I think everyone there will agree that this was an event to remember. And since it was so beautifully recorded by truly gifted photographers, it will be especially lovely to revisit for years to come. The cake making tradition is worthy of perpetuation but luckily the wedding ceremony of the groom’s father and me was never even considered, being as it was on a Tijuana backstreet in a trailer up on blocks.
From the ridiculous to the sublime – and, Sam and Petro, your wedding was certainly totally SUBLIME!

I work with Sam and Petro and I have to say if love exists, it has a name, Sam and Petro. All this time that I have been at Ikatu, I have seen how much they love and understand each other.
