Ok girls lets talk makeup! What are your best features?  Could it be your eyes, cheekbones or is it your smile? You are already beautiful so have some fun and enhance and bring out your best features. It’s important to hire a professional makeup artist who is talented and reputable because without being fully satisfied with your makeup you won’t be very happy with many of your most beautiful photographs.  One great way to be proactive for your big day is to do a practice makeup trial for your engagement session, which will give you adequate time to make any adjustments before your big day. A camera will often capture only half of a brides makeup, so don’t be afraid to apply more than what you’re used to.

    Hazel these Tips are just what I need especially doing a makeup trial on the engagement session! Im going to talk with my makeup artist and hopefully she will be available in time for our session! One of best friends was going to do the makeup for my bridal party, do you think that I should ask my makeup artist help out with my bridal party instead of my friend?

    Erika, Leaving things always to a professional, you may get the result you need. A professional make-up artist should always know the skin tonality of individuals to enhance all those beautiful features you and your bridal party may have. You might also get a group rate too 🙂

Jerry Ghionis, one of the most influential wedding and portrait photographers of the 21st century photographed Hazel with her beloved husband Alex on a once in a lifetime workshop in Paris. ”It was an honor working and posing for Jerry and he is an inspiration to Alex and I.”  A beautiful photograph of Hazel taken by Jerry Ghionis during his workshop in paris, happens to be featured on the front cover of this past February’s Rangefinder magazine! “ It is truly amazing and surreal!

Advice from anyone is just advice…but advice from a photographer who has truly perused the arts in fashion, modeling and, acting will be fun, helpful and exciting. Introducing Hazel Photographer’s “Tips of the Week” This new and exciting category is where you can get the most out of your photographer with wonderful tips for the Bride and Groom!

We would like to start by sharing some very simple and effective ways to loosen up on your big day! Everyone is excited for you, and a fun, memorable toast in honor of the bride and groom before the ceremony is always a special bonding moment. One great way to loosen up while your photographer is taking pictures of you is to whisper sweet and charming comments to one another. This will be relaxing for both the bride and the groom and bring out your beautiful expressions. Engagement sessions prior will also loosen you up for the pictures during your wedding because it will be a great opportunity to become more personal with your photographer. Remember to Relax, it’s your big day!

When it comes to Yuan and Jonathan not even a Florida cold front could stop this beautiful couple from showing off their love for each other during our engagement session.  It was hilarious and sweet listening to Jonathan brag about the devotion, talent and passion his beautiful fiancé has towards the art of dance. City Place was just one of the many locations we went to take pictures, It was sooo much fun making pictures of this couple especially during the fashion shots. Yuan loves to watch America’s Next Top Model and flip through Glamour in her free time. After the Engagement session I couldn’t refrain from giggling to myself because I saw how much Yuan and Jonathan truly loved each other , just like me and my husband. Their wedding blooms just shy a month away!

South Beach couldn’t get enough of the stunningly beautiful couple of Alina and Reny during their unforgettable engagement session. As I photographed this one of a kind couple, their romance and love captivated to hearts of those witnessing their sweet and flirtatious laughter, and their passionate affection towards each other.  As Alina and Reny partook in a delightful wine tasting it became very clear to me that Alina and Reny have always been destined to be together.  It was so much fun making photographs of you and I can’t wait to see Alina and her gorgeous dress this upcoming weekend!
