Well a couple of weeks ago me, Alex, our assistant and Intern all flew out to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention! The convention was hosted in the MGM Grand Hotel. Part of the convention was a huge trade show with hundreds of vendors. I knew Alex could spend the entire trip looking at the newest and latest photography toys, so to get him to come see some of the invited world-class photographers speak with me and our Intern, we bribed him with a dinner at Wolf Gang Puck! It was such an Inspiration listening to all of the world-renowned photographers share their techniques. It was so cute seeing Blake, our Intern from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, vigorously taking elaborate notes! After the inspirational photographers finished, went strait to the printing awards ceremony. We had a few laughs before the ceremony began with our friend Jerry Ghionis, who sat near us along with Sally Sargood and his Australian friends! After an incredible trip we flew home with thoughts of new and exciting ways to express our love and passion through the art of photography!

The beautiful City of Las Vegas with its none stopping action from one end of the strip to the other.

In Vegas, you always seem to find interesting characters roaming the city. Here you can see Alex with a fellow drifter expressing some fun poses.

Here we are just about to enter our convention and spend some money… we were also surprised to see a 6ft canvas with me on it. Thanks to Rangefinder and our favorite photographer Jerry Ghionis who took this picture in Paris on one of his workshops.

Here is Jerry Ghionis and some other big hitters like Mitche Graf singing their hearts out to Mustang Sally!
